Florida (10-3) vs. Miami (7-6) 

 

-Florida won 10 games in 2018 against 8 FBS opponents (Colorado State, Tennessee, Miss. St, LSU, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Florida State and Michigan) who had a combined overall record of 54-47 or 534%. 

-The Gators won those eight games by a total score of 289-143 or 18.2 ppg. 

-Florida also defeated FCS opponents Idaho and Charleston Southern by a  combined score of 116-16 or 50.0 ppg. 

-The Gators lost 3 games in 2018 against FBS opponents (Kentucky, Georgia and Missouri) who had a combined overall record of 29-11 or .725%. 

-Florida lost those three games by a total score of 101-50 or 17.0 ppg. 

 

-Miami won 7 games in 2018 against 6 FBS opponents (Toledo, Florida International, North Carolina, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Pitt) who had a combined overall record of 36-40 or .473%. 

-The Hurricanes won those six games by a total score of 217-95 or 20.3 ppg. 

-Miami also defeated FCS opponent Savannah State by a score of 77-0. 

-The Hurricanes lost 6 games in 2018 against FBS opponents (LSU, Virginia, Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech and Wisconsin) who had a combined overall record of 48-29 or .648%. 

-Miami lost those six games by a total score of 158-80 or 13.0 ppg. 

-Five of the six losses came on the road or on a neutral field last season.
