2019 Week 1-Virginia Tech vs. Boston College

Virginia Tech (6-7) vs. Boston College (7-5)

 

-Virginia Tech won 6 games in 2018 against 5 FBS opponents (Florida State, Duke, UNC, Virginia and Marshall) who had a combined overall record of 32-30 or .516%. 

-The Hokies won those five games by a total score of 152-87 or 13.0 ppg. 

-Virginia Tech also defeated FCS opponent William & Mary by a score of 62-17. 

-Virginia Tech lost 7 games in 2018 against FBS opponents (Old Dominion, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Pitt, Miami and Cincinnati) who had a combined overall record of 55-35 or .611%. 

-The Hokies lost those seven games by a total score of 299-174 or 17.8 ppg.

-Boston College lost those five games by a total score of 149-85 or 12.8 ppg.
