Michigan St. Spartans 8-1 (5-0 Big 10) vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers 7-2 (4-1 Big 10) 3:30pm ABC -TV

A key battle will take place in Lincoln this Saturday as the hot Michigan State Spartans travel to Memorial Stadium to square off against the Cornhuskers. Michigan State has had an extra week off to prepare for this game. The Spartans last played on Nov. 2 against their arch rival Michigan at home. The Spartans won that ball game behind their dominant defensive line 29-6 over the Wolverines.

Nebraska is coming off an impressive road victory over the Wolverines last weekend in Ann Arbor. Led by redshirt freshman quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. , the Cornhuskers scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to pull off the road upset 17-13.
