Big 10 Battle Takes Place In Lincoln On Saturday
Illinois (3-1) vs. Nebraska (3-1) 12:00 pm
Nebraska will open its 2013 Big 10 season against the upstart Illinois Fighting Illini. The Cornhuskers have had two weeks to prepare for this game and will be looking to erase memories of their 41-21 loss at the hands of UCLA earlier in the year. The Conrhuskers are coming off a 59-20 victory at home against South Dakota State. This will be the fifth home game in 6 weeks for Nebraska (bye week). The Conrhuskers are averaging 43.3 points per game and will be looking to test a young Illini secondary.
Illinois is 3-1 and can build off of the momentum gained in last week's 50-14 home victory over MAC opponent Miami (OH). The Illini have been averaging 40.3 points per game and will be looking to establish the tempo early against a suspect Cornhusker defense. The Illini will be looking get their play makers involved early and often on Saturday.
