Interview With Former Notre Dame and NFL RB Reggie Brooks

Reggie Brooks was a standout running back for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from 1989-1992. Brooks had an outstanding four year career in South Bend rushing 1,508 rushing yards averaging 7.6 yards per carry and 15 touchdowns. He finished as an All-American in 1992 and finished 5th in the Heisman Trophy voting for the 1992 season. He had great vision and strength in having a breakout senior season for Notre Dame. In 1992, Brooks exploded for 1,372 rushing yards averaging an amazing 8.0 yards per carry with 13 touchdowns. 

He was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1993 NFL Draft selected 45th overall by the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL from 1993-1996 and rushed for 1,726 rushing yards averaging 3.9 yards per carry with 7 touchdowns. Brooks was a very tough inside runner and could take it the distance every time he touched the football.

Currently, Brooks works for Notre Dame as the Manager for Monogram/Football Alumni Relations.
