Interview With Former Tennessee Volunteer WR Cory Fleming

Join Host Joe Lisi (former ABC Sports college football researcher) as he speaks with former Tennessee standout wide receiver Cory Fleming.

Fleming recorded 94 receptions for 1,266 yards and 18 touchdowns from 1990-1993. He was a 3rd round selection by the Dallas Cowboys and played two seasons in Dallas. He was part of the Super Bowl team that defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers and moved on to great success in the Arena Football League (AFL).

He played from 1997-2006 in the AFL for the Nashville Kats, Carolina Cobras and the Orlando Predators.

He was a 5-time All-Arena selection and a 4-time All-Ironman selection in the AFL and was inducted into the AFL Hall Of Fame this past April.

Fleming had great speed and ran great routes in making some fantastic plays in Volunteer history. Fleming was able to find holes in the defense and had great hands. He was very fluid in his route running and was a big play wide receiver for former Vol quarterbacks Andy Kelly and Heath Shuler.

Currently, Fleming is involved in charity work in the Nashville, TN area. His foundation helps young athletes in achieving scholarship money in order to go to school. The foundation is called: Cory Fleming Youth Sports Foundation

The foundation is a non-profit organization and helps young students and athletes achieve their goals.
