Interview With Former Texas A&M RB Robert Wilson
Robert Wilson was a standout running back for the Texas A&M Aggies from 1988-1990. In his three year career in College Station, Wilson rushed for 1,739 yards and 20 touchdowns. Wilson had great size and speed standing at 6'1 245 lbs. and was 6th in rushing in the SWC Conference in 1990. Wilson was part of offense that dominated BYU in the 1990 Holiday Bowl 65-14.
Wilson was a 3rd round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1991 NFL Draft. Wilson played in the NFL from 1991,1994-1996 for Tampa Bay, Miami and Dallas. Wilson was a special teams captain for the Dolphins and made his mark in the NFL on special teams.
Wilson is in the process of writing a book called: Politics in Sports-Why The best Players Never Play
Robert Wilson is very close to the Aggies program and has a charity golf event called: Aggies Legends Golf Classic
The event has raised $60,000 since its inception 2010. The event will be held on October 27,2014 and will be held at the Traditions Club.
