                             Interview With Former Texas WR BJ Johnson


Texas WR BJ Johnson had a great career with the Longhorns from 2000-2003. In his college career, he had 152 receptions for 2,389 yards and 16 touchdowns. He played in four bowl games (3 Holiday bowls and 1 Cotton Bowl) and was part of a great wide receiver corps in Austin.

Currently, Johnson is part of 1 Consolidated Environmental, that provides a comprehensive range of environmental consulting and construction services to both government and private sector clients. The company's focus is in demolition, excavation and hazardous waste abatement.

He is also active in giving back to the great state of Texas running a charity with fellow Longhorn Sloan Thomas- called Horns Giving Back. For the last 7 years, the charity has put on the Texas Premier Football Camp along with current Super Bowl Denver Broncos FS Michael Huff down in Austin that supports the Boys and Girls Club of Austin. Johnson stated that, "it really gives us a chance to give back to a great community that gave so much to us while we were in school".  The charity runs a golf tournament called : The  Tee it Up for Cole P Golf Tournament-in honor of our Longhorn brother Cole Pittman who died in a car crash in 2001.
