Interview With Former Wisconsin Badgers RB Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis was a standout running back for the Wisconsin Badgers from 2001-2004. In his incredible four year career, Davis recorded 4,676 rushing yards averaging 5.1 yards per carry and had 42 touchdowns. Davis had great vision and speed in carrying the rock. He was a very tough inside runner who was not afraid of contact and was a threat to take it the distance every time he touched the football.
In 2004, Davis led the Big 10 in rushing with 1,466 yards.
Davis following in a long line of great Wisconsin backs Brent Moss, Ron Dayne and Michael Bennett. Davis was great at getting to the second line of defense and blazing past opposing defenders. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Davis played two seasons in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
