Kilton Anderson will be entering Fresno State this fall as a freshman. Anderson was a standout quarterback for Naples High School in Florida before transferring to Skyline High School in Washington for his senior season. Anderson excelled in leading the Spartans to 9-2 overall record and berth in the Washington State playoffs. Anderson has great size at 6'3 205 lbs. and can run a 4.5 (40 yard dash). He has great pocket presence and keeps his eyes down the field in locating his wide receivers.

In his four year career at Naples and Skyline, Anderson threw for 3,711 yards with 34 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He also added 45 touchdowns on the ground and rushed for 952 yards (averaging 6.35 yards per carry) in the 2012 season. In 2013, his first year in the spread offense, Anderson excelled completing 61.4 percent of his passes with 15 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Anderson is a smart quarterback that has played in both a run oriented attack (Naples) and a passing offense (Skyline). His adaptability in making the transition in his senior season show his amazing upside potential.

Anderson won MVP honors in an Elite 100 camp in Plant City Florida and attended the Barton Football Academy run by quarterback guru Taylor Barton. Barton has a fantastic resume working with NFL quarterbacks such as: Dan Orlavsky, Brad Smith, Carson Palmer (Heisman Trophy winner), Kyle Orton, Derek Anderson, and Aaron Rodgers (Super Bowl MVP).

With the loss of senior quarterback Derek Carr, the Bulldogs are in the midst of a quarterback battle entering fall camp. In spring, the quarterback position is up for grabs with Brian Burrell, Myles Carr and Zack Greenlee all taking snaps in spring practice. However, Anderson has a huge upside and can come in and compete right from the beginning. Anderson shows maturity in the pocket and a live arm. He shows great velocity on his passes and can make every throw on the field. Kilton Anderson can be a star in the making for the Fresno State Bulldogs.
