South Carolina Travels To #5 Missouri To Face Tigers in SEC East Battle
SEC East Battle in Columbia, Missouri
The South Carolina Gamecocks will travel to Columbia to challenge the undefeated SEC-East leading Missouri Tigers on Saturday.
South Carolina is coming off a 23-21 loss in Knoxville, TN to the Volunteers, while Missouri routed the Florida Gators at home 36-17. This game has division implications and expect a great game from both teams on Saturday.
Gamecocks quarterback Connor Shaw was injured in the Volunteers game and expect junior Dylan Thompson to get the start against Missouri. Freshman Maty Mauk took over for injured Tigers’ quarterback James franklin against Georgia and won his first start last week. However, this week could be a difficult game for the freshman.
