On Saturday the post Chip Kelly era began in a big way with a 66-3 victory at home in Autzen Stadium against Nicholls State. The Ducks racked up an impressive 772 total yards in the rout. Ducks starting quarterback Marcus Mariota led the Ducks with 234 yards passing and 1 TD through the air. Mariota also added 2 rushing TD’s and had 113 yards on only 5 carries. The Ducks will travel to Charlottesville, Virginia this weekend to face the Cavaliers. The Cavs are coming off an impressive 19-16 victory over the BYU Cougars. Led by QB David Watford the Cavs were able to move the ball on  the Cougars stout defense. Watford completed 18 of 32 passes with 1 TD and 1 INT. Cavalier running back is a very tough inside runner. On Saturday Parks rushed for 65 yards on 20 carries and added 1 TD on the ground.

Key Stats and Information:

-The Ducks will travel on the road to face the Cavs and must face the Volunteers the following week. Could the Ducks be looking past the Cavs?

-Cav head coach Mike London will try and use a ball control attack with running back Kevin Parks who could find running room against the Ducks defense.

-This is the 1st road game for the Ducks coaching staff and new OC Scott Frost (former Nebraska QB).

-Game being played on grass and possibly favor the Cavalier rushing game.
