West Virginia lost three games in 2016 to Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Miami. Those teams were a combined 30-9 overall in 2016 with a winning percentage of .769%. The Mountaineers were outscored by a 124-62 margin or by an average margin of defeat of 20.6 points per game.
