Virginia won 2 games in 2016 against FBS opponents (Central Michigan and Duke) with a combined overall record of 10-15 or .400%. The Cavaliers won those games by a total score of 83-55 or 14.0 points per game.


Virginia lost 10 games in 2016 against FBS opponents (Oregon, UCONN, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Louisville, Wake Forest, Miami, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech) with a combined overall record of 67-49 or .577%. The Cavaliers lost those games by a total score of 313-167 or 16.2 points per game.
